When you create an account, we collect your school email address, class year, and a hashed version of your password. When you submit compensation data, we collect the offer details you provide (employer, role, compensation figures).
Your school email is used solely for account verification and authentication. Compensation data is used to generate anonymized, aggregated statistics visible to other verified users. We never sell, share, or distribute your personal information to third parties.
Individual submission data is only displayed when 3 or more submissions exist in the same bracket (industry, function, geography combination). This k-anonymity threshold ensures that no individual can be identified through deduction. Aggregated statistics (medians, percentiles) are always shown regardless of submission count.
Your account and submission data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
